I am very impressed with this practice. The new rapid access appointment system allows patients to receive a telephone call from the doctor at a time that suits them to discuss any medical concerns. If they need to be seen the doctor will then arrange a face to face appointment either that day or at a time suitable to the patient. The receptionist explained the system clearly to my Mum who had several concerns following her cancer treatment and the doctor took time on the telephone and was lovely, explaining in detail and offering to see Mum for further reassurance. Mum didn't feel she needed to be seen and felt well supported and confident to call the doctor again if she had any further concerns. We both think this is a wonderful system. Thank you for supporting my Mum so well.

I have been with this surgery since I was born in 1960 and they have always given great care, not only to me but my parents, siblings and children.

I have been registered with this surgery for over 20 years and thankfully have only seldom been in the position that I needed care. My wife and child have required frequent visits lately and he doctors and nurses are generally very good. What lets this surgery down are the receptionists! One lady in particular is definitely in the wrong job. -They fail to make appointments when they are required to do so -They are rude on the phone and in person -It is a nightmare to try and get through on the phone -When an appointment is made it often needs rescheduled for 3 weeks later! because the receptionist has booked it with the wrong type of doctor (through not fault of my own). I feel sorry that the good doctors and nurses at St Pauls Medical Centre have their professional reputation brought into doubt because of the actions of the administrative staff.
